Entry Open for GBBA Contest  

Entries are now open for the popular Gloucestershire Brass Band Association (GBBA) Own Choice March & Test Piece Contest. The event will take place on Sunday 24th November at Chosen Hill School, Brookfield Road, Churchdown, Glos (GL3 2PL). The adjudicator will be Dr Brett Baker DMA, MA, ARCM (Hons)

There are two classes of competition with section prizes on offer: Class A, which includes Championship, First, Second, Third & Fourth Section Bands. They will be required to perform an own-choice march and test piece. Class B is for Youth, Training & Unregistered Bands. To encourage participation in class B, bands may perform either a march and test piece or a 15-minute programme that includes a march.

Entry fees are: Class A: £125 for GBBA members / £140 non GBBA members; Class B: £40
