Black Dyke entertain Crowds

Black Dyke Band returned to live concert action last weekend with an open air event held at Almondbury Wesleyan Cricket Club in Huddersfield. The considerable crowds were delighted by the entertaining programme offered by the Queensbury band, which included 'Last Night of the Proms' classics such as 'Jerusalem' and 'Land of Hope and Glory'. The audience had no hesitation in showing their appreciation with the concert concluding with a standing ovation.

A spokesperson for the band commented on the boost the event had given the band, “We would like to say a massive thank you to the amazing audience who came to support the band today! It’s great to be back playing. Let's hope it’s not another 15 months before our next concert!”
