Artist and Deluxe concert vibraphones
Majestic

Looking for concert Vibraphones - Majestic Holland B.V., part of the KHS Group based in Taiwan, produces real quality options in the popular three-octave range.

Steeped in organ, piano and wind instrument sales since 1921 in Heerenveen, The Netherlands, Majestic has been specialising in the design and manufacture of marching percussion since 1947. Since the 1960s, the Company has delivered a bespoke, quality range of concert percussion to the market, offering stability, superior sound and tuning.

Not surprisingly, orchestras, marching bands and brass bands the world over play Majestic percussion, including by the world’s number one ranked band and the current British National, Brass in Concert and European Champion - Cory.

Said Majestic’s Sales Manager, Jaap Ruisch: “We pride ourselves on designing and making quality percussion, and our concert vibraphones are no exception. Design improvement at Majestic is continuous and our tuners are very skilled, ensuring the most easily assembled, playable and perfectly tuned percussion instruments.”

Majestic’s Concert Vibraphones, for example, offer a very warm, full-bodied tone, which Majestic claims is perfectly balanced throughout the range of the instrument.

Available in two models - all Artist and Deluxe, all Majestic Concert Vibraphones have a wide pedal design with twin pull rods, allowing the performer to play freely and also to create a more efficient damping mechanism, as well as offering players comfort and reliability.

The cogged belt increases stability and ensures precise alignment of the rotors of both resonator banks, providing reliable performance.

Said Jaap Ruisch: “Most concert vibraphones are made for ease of travelling and assembly. Ours are heavier, but just as easy to travel and assemble, and much more stable to play on. Also, the motor, which hangs in rubbers, is totally quiet - it doesn’t make a sound during performance, even in the highest speed.”
