Cory Band Side-by-Side

Following the success of its first year, when 11 young school-age students had the chance to sit alongside members of Cory Band in rehearsal, the Cory Academy Royal Welsh College Music and Drama Side-by-Side Scheme is now open again for applicants for 2024.

A spokesperson for the band explained, “The scheme offers young brass and percussion players an exciting opportunity to sit alongside members of the Cory Band during rehearsals. If you are based in the UK, a year 11, 12 or 13 student, and are Grade 8 or of equivalent standard, this could be for you.”
