M15 help Endangered Instrument Appeal

The M15 Brass Quintet, comprising final year undergraduate and postgraduate students, is hoping to help raise funds to support the Royal Northern College of Music's 'Endangered Instrument Appeal'.

The ensemble, already having gained notable acclaim for numerous concert and competition performances, took to JustGiving in order to help others. Commenting on social media a spokesperson for the group explained, “Multiple members of the quintet have benefitted from this appeal in the past so we would like to use this opportunity and our platform to try and support future students at the college.”

As part of their fourth year creative project the students are supporting the RNCM Endangered Instrument Appeal by recording music that has a link to the RNCM. The quintet has recorded former Principal’s Edward Gregson's 'Equale Dances' which will be released on 24th March.

Anyone wishing to donate and support the appeal should do so by visiting: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/m15rareinstrumentappeal?utm_term=bjNnwzddp
