SWBBA Contest Results

Congratulations to Lympstone who won the recent South West Brass Band Association Contest last weekend. Adjudicator Sam Fisher had plenty to commend in the performances he heard, particularly that of Lympstone under the direction of conductor Chris Spreadbury. City of Cardiff (Melingriffith) M1, under the leadership of Christopher Bond, had to be content with second place, but were also awarded the accolade of ‘Best Cornet Player’. St Austell completed the podium places and full results from all sections can be seen below.
