RAH Pre-Results Music

Kapitol Promotions has announced that the British Army Band Tidworth Fanfare Team will herald the 2023 National Champion Band at next weekend's Championship Section Final 2023, which is being held at London's Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 21 October. The Fanfare Team will perform ‘The Red Machine’ by James Scott during the Results Ceremony and British Army Band Tidworth appears by kind permission of General Officer Commanding London District, Major General James Bowder.

Kapitol has also given further details of the pre-results concert will see Whitburn Band appear with trumpet soloist Mike Lovatt. The combination has performed together previously and will showcase a new arrangement by Chris Shanks of the iconic 'MacArthur Park'. Mike Lovatt commented on the upcoming performance stating, “'m really excited about playing at the event. It's great to be linking up with Whitburn once more and we hope the audience will enjoy the music, especially Colin's brilliant new 'MacArthur Park' arrangement.”
