New Flugel at Foden's

Foden's Band have informed BBW that former repiano cornetist, Melanie Whyle, has been appointed as the band's new Flugel Horn Player.

Speaking about the appointment Mark Wilkinson told BBW: "Melanie has played Repiano with Foden's for 5 years and during this time has proved herself to be a very stylish, consistent, committed and hard working player who is already making a great impact on Flugel."

Filling the repiano seat is Leon Renilson, former Principal Cornet of Swinton Concert, YBS, Leyland and more recently Brighouse. Mark Wilkinson commented: "We are extremely pleased that Leon has accepted our offer to fill the Repiano position. He brings a great wealth of experience to the band."
