French Open Championship Results

The 27th French Open Championships took place last weekend (2nd – 4th June) in Amboise, situated in the beautiful Loire Valley.  Adjudicators Chris Jeans and Luc Vertommen had plenty to admire across the event, not least Hammonds Band’s terrific winning performance of Edward Gregson’s ‘The World Rejoicing’. As always, the traditional contest was enhanced with competitive performances from bands in all sections, a fabulous Gala Concert as well as the popular outdoor events.
