2023 Brass in Concert Draw

The 2023 Brass in Concert Championships will be held at Sage Gateshead on Saturday 18th November. The draw, which was made by Brass in Concert advisor, Kenny Crookston with the assistance of Iwan Fox, Steven Mead and Tormod Flaten, was done live from the European Championships in Malmo and is listed below: 

1. Grimethorpe Colliery Band
2. Brighouse & Rastrick
3. Friary Band
4. Eikanger Bjorsvik
5. Hammonds
6. Foden's
7. Carlton Main Frickley
8. Tredegar
9. Aldbourne
10. Flowers
11. Fountain City

Bands will perform from 11am and the day’s performances and results ceremony will be complete by 9pm. Extra performances are being planned for the morning and evening, with details to follow very soon. To find out more about this year’s competing bands please visit www.brassinconcert.com. 

Well done to Alex Warwick who won the draw competition to guess the first and last band correctly and will receive two free tickets to the contest. Tickets for the Brass in Concert Championship 2023 will go on sale on Wednesday 12 July at 10am via the Sage Gateshead website or box office.
