Euro Previews in Wales

Welsh Champion Tredegar will be holding an open 'drop-in' European rehearsal tomorrow on Sunday 30th April. It will give supporters and brass band lovers a chance to hear the band work in detail on the set-test 'Aurora' by Joel Thoor Engstrom, as well as their own-choice work ahead of their trip to Malmo. 

People can drop in at any time from 10.00am to 3.00pm at the bandhall on Gelli Road in Tredegar (NP22 3RD). MD Ian Porthouse stated, “Preparations for the contest have been going really well and we would like to be able to showcase the detail of what we are doing, so just pop in!”

Meanwhile Welsh rivals Cory, the current title holders of the European Championships will hold its open rehearsal later in the week on Wednesday 3rd May.

Under the baton MD Philip Harper you can go and hear both their preparations on the set-work, 'Aurora' by Joel Thoor Engstrom as well as their own-choice selection. The rehearsal is taking place at Y Pant School, Cowbridge Road, Talbot Green, Pontyclun (CF72 8YQ) on Wednesday 3rd May with a prompt start at 7.00pm.
