Black Dyke Band Opens Up

In advance of their appearance at the upcoming European Brass Band Championships in Malmo, Sweden, where they will have the honour of representing England, Black Dyke Band are offering their supporters the opportunity to join them in their preparations. The open rehearsal will take place in Morley Town Hall at 8.00pm on Tuesday 2nd May.

Under the direction of Director of Music Prof. Nicholas Childs they will showcase their preparations on the newly commissioned set test piece ‘Aurora’ by Joel Thoor Engstrom as well as their own choice selection.

Admission is free and doors open at 7.30pm and the rehearsal will start promptly at 8.00pm.
