Scottish Challenge Entries Open

Entries are now invited for the 2023 Band Supplies Scottish Challenge on Saturday 18 November. This year bands in Sections 1-4 are being asked to play music composed by Gilbert Vinter. A spokesperson for the event explained, “Vinter composed some outstanding music for brass bands and SBBA feels it’s time to highlight his great works. Bands from all sections will find something that their members can perform. All music is available to buy from Just Music.”

The contest will take place as usual in Perth Concert Hall. Details of the Scottish Open on Saturday 25 November and the Scottish Youth Championships on Sunday 26 November will follow in due course.
