Russell Gray to lead weekend Conducting Course

Celebrated musical director Russell Gray will be leading a weekend course in conducting in Livingston at the end of April. Working with the Bathgate Band, Russell will cover rehearsal planning and execution and baton techniques. The weekend will also include a foundation course aimed at those who wish to take up conducting, led by Stuart Black working with the Bathgate Youth Band. The event will culminate in a concert with all delegates from both courses presenting and conducting a piece of music. 

The workshop will take place at Bathgate’s band hall at Houston Interchange Business Park in Livingston over the weekend of 29th to 30th April. Spaces are limited to ensure enough podium time for everyone.
