West of England Regional Details Released
The schedule and adjudicators for the 2023 West of England Regional Championships have been announced, with the event returning to the Riviera International Centre in Torquay on the 11th & 12th March.
The Fourth Section take place at Torquay's Assembly Hall, judged by Morten E Hansen and Philip Harper with the Third Section and First Section at the Riviera Centre's main auditorium adjudicated by Christopher Bond and Tom Hutchinson followed by Chris Jeans and John Maines respectively.
The Second Section followed by the Championships Section will both take place in the Riviera Centre on Sunday with adjudicators Christopher Bond and John Maines in the box first, followed by Chris Jeans and Morten E Hansen for the top section.
Three bands will qualify for the Royal Albert Hall National Final following Flowers automatic pre-qualification. WEBBA Chairman, John Woods stated, "We are delighted to be returning to Torquay this year with an entry of 76 bands across the two days. For the first time the event will run across two halls on the Saturday with the Fourth Section taking place at the Assembly Hall, Torquay. We look forward to welcoming the bands and adjudicating team to Torquay in March."
