Brass Band Conference Tickets Available

Tickets to The Brass Band Conference 2022 are now available to all, after a limited early-bird period for BBE members. The full day event, taking place in Sale on 22 October, will include workshops, talks and presentations on the important theme of ‘Banding for Life’, including a keynote address from Ian Bousfield. The day will include multiple networking opportunities as well as the presentation of the Brass Bands England Awards.

If you can’t be there in person, you can now purchase a Digital Pass for just £5. This will give you live-streamed access to all activities in the main hall, a digital programme, the chance to contribute to discussions and ask questions virtually, as well as access to recordings of all workshop sessions after the event.

The conference opens at 10:00 for coffee and networking with sessions running from 10:30 - 16:30. In each workshop slot you will have up to three workshop options to select from covering a wide range of topics. View the full conference schedule here.

A batch of new speakers have now been confirmed for the day. Focusing on the conference theme of ‘Banding for Life’, speakers participating in the conference panel discussion are now confirmed:
Sheila Allen (Chair)
John Gillam, Chair of NYBBGB
Jay Hall, MD of St Helens Youth Brass Band and Pemberton ‘B’ Band
Sam Wyne, Wantage Silver Band
Olivia Hurst, Brass Bands England Outstanding Contribution Award (18 and Under) winner 2021

A series of 1:1 clinics will also take place on the day, with sessions available with the Brass Foundations team, Brass Band Conductors’ Association and the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators. Banders are encouraged to book early in order to be given the opportunity to choose their preferred break-out sessions ahead of the day, some of which have limited availability. Details of how to book a break-out session will be provided via email prior to the event.

Tickets for The Brass Band Conference 2022 can be purchased from the Brass Bands England website.
