WFEL Fairey in National Lottery Jubilee Party

The WFEL Fairey Band will be part of the National Lottery’s Big Jubilee Street Party at the AO Arena. It will be aired by ITV and hosted by Jason Manford and Fleur East. The event, will combine exciting performance collaborations from some of the biggest names in music; Kaiser Chiefs, Tom Grennan, Steps, Becky Hill, Heather Small - The Voice Of M People, Calum Scott, House Gospel Choir, Nathan Dawe and Ella Henderson. The AO Arena floor will be transformed into a stunning street party setting, festooned with lights, trestle tables and colourful bunting to act as the stage for the immersive multimedia show. 

It's just one way in which The National Lottery is helping the UK come together to celebrate Her Majesty’s historic 70-year reign, with over £22m of National Lottery funds earmarked for communities to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. 1,000 tickets have been set aside for National Lottery-funded charities and community groups from the North West - many of whom will have been awarded funding for their amazing projects to commemorate the Jubilee. Jason Manford said: “I’m delighted to be hosting The National Lottery’s Big Jubilee Street Party at Manchester's AO Arena in honour of The Queen. It'll be a huge celebration of our monarch’s extraordinary reign and a night of fantastic entertainment. The audience is in for a real treat.”
