BBE partners with Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy for special webinar

On Tuesday 1 February, Brass Bands England will be hosting a webinar specifically tailored to the needs of brass bands in this time of recovery, by helping bands invest in their most loyal supporters. The session will be led by fundraising experts from Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy (AF&P).

In one hour, participants will get to know everything they need to know about supporter schemes. Key content will include:

·         The key trends emerging in fundraising, marketing and audience development, based on real-life findings and research

·         How the above impacts on the propensity of individual donors to join a supporters scheme

·         The main types of supporter scheme and the benefits and challenges of each approach

·         Some examples of brass band schemes which are successful, next steps and key takeaways

·         A unique opportunity to ask questions to an organisation specialising in fundraising for arts organisations of all shapes and sizes

There will also be free fundraising resources, which will be made available exclusively to attendees at the end of the session.

The webinar offers a unique opportunity to hear from Fundraising & Philanthropy, experts in the field of fundraising for arts organisations at all levels. AF&P aims to empower others to harness the considerable opportunities that fundraising offers and to develop diverse and entrepreneurial practice, building and growing long-lasting fundraising skills. The session will be delivered by their Head of Programme, David Johnson.

Sarah Baumann, BBE’s Education and Development Manager, commented: “We are so thrilled to be joined by AF&P who really are experts in the field of fundraising for the arts. They will share with us a number of brass band schemes which have been hugely successful, as well as offering wider insight into what other arts organisations are doing that you could do too! This is a unique opportunity to find out everything you need to know about supporter schemes as well as put your questions directly to David.”

You can sign up via the BBE Events page, where you will also find other fundraising-focused webinars and drop-ins. This webinar will be happening over Zoom. It is free to BBE Members. Non-members can access for a £10 fee. FOr more information visit: https://www.bbe.org.uk/civicrm/event/info/265
