Verwood Win at Wessex
Congratulations to Verwood Concert Brass who won the Wessex Brass Band Association Winter Contest held recently at Poole High School. Under the direction of Kevin Smith, the band claimed victory with a thrilling performance of ‘Blitz’.
Open to bands in all sections, victory went to a confident Verwood Concert Brass, as the Championship Section band under the baton of Kevin Smith claimed the honours with an exciting performance of 'Blitz'. Second place went to First Section band A W Parker (Drybrook), with the podium completed by Bournemouth Concert Brass. Full results and prizes can be seen below:
