Entries are in for Willebroek Solo Contest!

Registrations for the Willebroek Solo Contest 2021 are officially closed. The first edition of this event is already poised to be a huge success. 76 brass players from no less than 6 different countries, means it promises to be a well-filled day with many talented musicians. The field of competitors comes from Spain, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium. 

Commenting on the Contest Lode Violet explained, “The organization is very proud we can offer so much to all the candidates, and they will offer much more to us and the audience all over the world. We are very happy with the numbers, it will be great to see and hear some of the greatest young brass soloists in Europe.

“The online and live audience also plays an important role during the competition. The participant with the most votes will receive a public prize of €250 on top of any other prizes. See you on October 23, 2021 at the Municipal Theatre of Willebroek or via the live stream!”
