Binns takes the helm at Hebden Bridge

Trombonist Chris Binns has been announced as the new Musical Director of Hebden Bridge Band. Chris will be juggling his role as Principal Trombone at Grimethorpe with conducting Hebden Bridge as they return to full time post-Covid rehearsals and work towards the Cheltenham National Finals.

Commenting on the appointment, Band Chairman, Ian Plant stated, "It's great to welcome such a talented and enthusiastic musician to help us move on from what had been a difficult year for all bands. We are excited at the prospect of returning to full rehearsals and preparing for the National finals later in the year."
