The Panel said “It was a really interesting and pleasurable experience to adjudicate over zoom. We had a thoroughly pleasurable evening listening to the finalists performances as there was such a wide selection of music and genres on show. It was a really hard decision but we think we have found an outstanding winner in CJ and look forward to seeing her in action in the future. Congratulations!”

The BBCA was keen to record special thanks to guest adjudicator Bjarte Engeset and also to BBCA member judges Paul Holland and Brendan Breslin who together had the tough job in selecting a winner. They also thanked the team at Brass Bands England for providing the admin support to make this year’s event possible.
