Brass Ensemble Academy at Chetham’s

Chetham’s School of Music is delighted to invite young musicians, grade 6-8 standard, to its first ever Brass Ensemble Academy. The day will take place on Sunday 6 June from 10.00 to 16.30 at a cost of £45. A spokesperson for the day explained, “Join fellow young musicians for a day of ensemble music making on the spectacular stages of The Stoller Hall and Carole Nash Hall at Chetham’s. Receive expert advice and guidance from Chetham’s Director of Music, Tom Redmond, and the school’s leading brass instrument tutors. Register now to experience first-hand tuition from the UK’s leading specialist music school, and take your music playing to the next level.”

The day is recommended for students aged 14-18. Places are limited to enable social distancing, so you are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. The day is open to players of the following instruments: Trumpets; Trombones; Tubas; Euphoniums; Tenor Horns and French Horns.
