Cory Virtual Brass Day 2021

Start the new year with Cory in an exciting virtual brass and percussion day – the ideal Christmas present for the banding enthusiast. The day, which will take place on Saturday 16th January 2021, will include full band sessions working through fantastically uplifting music with Philip Harper, sectional sessions and masterclasses with Cory tutors and a chance to chat to and get to know other people from many different countries. The day itself will run from 10am to 5pm including a packed programme of online rehearsals, sectionals, challenges and tips and tricks from Cory Band’s Musical Director Philip Harper and some of Cory’s principal players: Tom Hutchinson (cornets), Ailsa Russell (horns), Chris Thomas (trombones), Steve Kane (euphs and baris), Simon Howell (basses) and Steve Jones (Percussion). The day will focus on providing an opportunity to play. Philip will lead three dynamic full band rehearsals, and there will be two inspirational sectional sessions with section tutors as well as a chance to ask questions, and meet new and old brass friends from across the world.

The day is priced at: £50 for an adult place (Early Bird price*) and £25 for under-19s (Early Bird price*). *Early Bird prices are available until 1st Jan 2021, after which prices will be £75 adults and £40 U-19s.
