Free Mental Health Awareness Session

Mental health advocate Tabby Kerwin will be holding a free online session on mental health awareness in brass bands on Monday 21st September (7.00pm). The free one-hour session is aimed at people in brass banding and focuses on identifying and supporting better mental health. The session will include some mental health awareness information to help identify the early signs of mental ill health and an open question and answer session to help and support participants and everyone involved in brass bands.

Commenting on the session Tabby stated, “Now more than ever it is important to focus on the mental health of our musicians as we navigate through testing times globally. This session is open to anyone in bands globally, not just England, and could be the starting point of important conversations of how to work together to our good supports in place for better mental health.”
