Divas through the Decades
Seraph Brass has released its latest video, featuring no less than 81 female musicians from 31 different countries to raise awareness and money for the Global Fund for Women. The video presents ‘Divas through the Decades’, an arrangement by trombonist Carol Jarvis of the greatest hits by divas such as Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Adele and Tina Turner amongst others. Fellow trombonist Christopher Bill edited and produced the incredible video which can be viewed at:
Mary Elizabeth Bowden, trumpet player and founder of Seraph Brass explained, “I founded Seraph Brass to elevate the profiles of female brass musicians and to create opportunities for women in music. The Global Fund for Women, which uses its resources to shift ‘power towards women, girls, and all marginalized people worldwide,’ is very much aligned with our principles.”
