Maxine Kwok visits Fulham Brass

London Symphony Orchestra violinist Maxine Kwok Adams joined John Ward and Fulham Brass for an inspirational chat. The band has already enjoyed talks from Gavin Higgins, Helen Vollam, Anna Meredith, Simone Rebello and Philip Smith.

Maxine has played with the LSO for over 20 years and recounted details of her career including being conducted by 'Star Wars' composer John Williams. The musical relationship with John Williams has become even stronger over the years with the LSO recording prequels to the iconic franchise to Harry Potter and many more. Maxine also talked about how recording work has changed to include video game music and how she herself has branched out into teaching and now presenting as she recently hosted a programme on Scala Radio.

Maxine obviously enjoyed the experience as much of the band tweeting, "So fun to share my experiences in the recording studio with lovely people."
