Foden’s reunite with Matthew Ford

Foden's are pleased to release its newest distance performance, this time something slightly different and with help of good friend and internationally celebrated singer Matthew Ford.

Voted ‘Best UK Male Big Band Vocalist’ and nominated alongside Jamie Cullum in the inaugural Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Awards, Matthew makes regular appearances with the John Wilson Orchestra, BBC Big Band and performed for 5 years with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra. Having made multiple appearances at BBC Proms with the John Wilson Orchestra – 2011, 2013 and 2016, 17 and 19, Matthew was due to feature again with Foden's at this summer's Gawsworth Hall Series.

A spokesperson for the band stated, “Whilst the live performances are on hold, we're pleased we were able to get Matt 'together' with Foden's Trio to record 'My Funny Valentine' by Richard Rodgers.”
