Carole Crompton becomes a Foden's Vice President

Following the recent announcement that Foden's have been successful in an application to the Arts Council England 'Covid 19' funding award, Foden's are pleased to announce that Carole Crompton has been offered and accepted a position as a Vice President of the band.

Speaking on behalf of the trustees Andy Rolfe commented, “The trustees and management of the band are extremely pleased that Carole has accepted our offer to become a Vice President. Carole is a previous Solo Baritone player with Foden's and since becoming our Strategic Arts Funding Advisor in 2016 has been instrumental in helping the organisation secure funding to a total value of £108,689 across four successful bids to Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund. We look forward to working with Carole on a number of further funding applications currently in discussion.”

Commenting on the announcement Carole stated “I am truly thrilled and honoured to have been invited to become a Vice President of Foden’s Band. It is a band that I hold very dear to my heart as a past Solo Baritone player for some years. Foden’s Band is a very forward thinking band and recognised by the Arts Council England as leaders in the work they are delivering including their collaborative work and their youth initiatives and ties. They are a band that I am sure will be front runners in delivering Arts/Heritage projects in the future. I look forward to continuing my work with Foden’s and feel very proud to accept this position.”
