Duet with a Pro for the Trussell Trust
Trumpeter and composer Ryan Linham is offering a fantastic opportunity for brass players to ‘Duet with a Pro’ with all proceeds going to the Trussell Trust, the major UK food bank charity. The duets were written during self-isolation 2020 and enable players of all levels to play fresh original music alongside a world-class musician in their own homes.
The series features trumpeter Alan Thomas as its debut pro, whose exceptional playing is well known in the UK with him having held the Principal Trumpet chairs in the CBSO and BBC Symphony Orchestra, as well as being a member of Septura and Onyx Brass ensembles. Away from performing Alan is Associate Head of Brass at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, a Professor at the Royal College of Music and trumpet tutor to the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
The downloadable pack costs just £15 which includes three duet playalongs with assorted video and audio options depending on whether you want to play with or be the pro! There are three levels of difficulty available as well as choices of pitch and clef depending on your instrument.
