2021 North American Nationals Commission PLC

The North American Brass Band Association (NABBA) has announced the list of set-works that will be used at their 2021 National Championship. Paul Lovatt-Cooper has been commissioned to write the Championship Section set test piece, with a further new British contribution coming in the form of ‘Grieg Variations’ by Jonathan Bates for the Second Section.

Test pieces:

Championship Section: New Commission ( Paul Lovatt-Cooper)
First Section: Blitz (Derek Bourgeois)
Second Section: Grieg Variations (Jonathan Bates)
Third Section: Hope (Dorothy Gates)

Youth Championship Section: Resurgam (Eric Ball)
Youth First Section: Images for Brass (Stephen Bulla)
