RNCM Trombone Day

Join two of the country’s leading trombone players: RNCM tutors Katy Jones and Christian Jones, on Sunday 19 April for an inspiring day of learning. Designed for enthusiastic players of ABRSM Grade 6 or equivalent, participants will benefit from masterclasses and tuition, covering areas such as performance, technique and ensemble work. They’ll also receive advice on preparing for auditions and performances before taking part in an informal concert for family and friends.

This day is distinctive in relation to the quality of coaching provided by players and teachers who’ve reached the highest levels of performance and education in the music industry. It aims to develop in each musician the importance of a whole mind and body approach to communicating music through their instrument.

Students who would benefit from this course may be:
·       A student preparing for conservatoire entrance auditions
·       A music education student planning a career in a performance setting or postgraduate study
·       A music enthusiast wishing to enhance their musical experience by working with the RNCM as part of a professional development experience

The day is priced at £30 with further information available at www.rncm.ac.uk/production/trombone-day/
