Yorkshire Rivals Join Forces

The 75th anniversary year of the famous massed band concert series in Huddersfield will be celebrated in style on Saturday 28th March. Black Dyke will join hosts Brighouse & Rastrick in what is sure to be a memorable occasion. The concert will be conducted by guest conductor Prof. Nicholas Childs and will be compèred by David Hoyle of BBC Radio Leeds.


The programme will include highlights such as ‘Rhapsody in Brass’, ‘Nessun Dorma’ and ‘Nimrod’. The concert will conclude with the glorious sound of two of the World’s most famous bands filling Huddersfield Town Hall as they take on Tchaikovsky’s ‘1812 Overture’. This is a concert not to be missed.
