Andrea Price takes on Tewkesbury

Tewkesbury Town Band has announced the appointment of Andrea Price as their new Musical Director. Andrea is a former Principal Percussionist of Black Dyke Band and a former Director of Music at Bolton School Girls' Division. In 2019, she was appointed Head of Academic Music at Malvern College and she is also a tutor at the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.
 
Both Andrea and the band are excited about the partnership and are looking forward to working together. A spokesperson for the band stated, “Andrea takes over from long serving MD, Nigel Morgan, who is retiring. He will continue as assistant conductor over the next six months.”
