OBE for Bingham 

Composer Judith Bingham has been awarded the OBE. Born in Nottingham, the renowned musician studied at the Royal Academy of Music and is a Fellow of the Royal Northern College of Music. She is well known to brass band musicians for her works such as, 'Four Minute Mile', 'These are our Footsteps', 'The Stars Above, the Earth Below' and the 2003 Championship Section Area test piece 'Prague'.
 
Judith has also produced extensive portfolio of work including opera scores and major orchestral pieces that have won her worldwide acclaim, multiple British Composer Awards and now an OBE int the 2020 New Year Honours List.
