Federal Cross of Merit for Arnd Bolten

Arnd Bolten, the President of the German Brass Band Association has been honoured with the award of the Federal Cross of Merit. The award, given for outstanding achievements in the political, economic, cultural, spiritual or voluntary fields, is considered one of the highest honours available to German civilians.
 
The 68-year-old chairman of the German Brass Band Association has worked throughout his professional life in the musical world. His award paid tribute to his work, particularly his passion and success in increasing a long-term sustainable structure of the domestic German brass band movement.
