Aobba link to Solo and Quartet Contest

Foden's has announced further details of the annual Solo and Quartet contest to be held in Sandbach on the 2nd November, which will be supported by Kapitol Promotions and Brass Band World. The Solo contest is a regular highlight in the bands busy calendar attracting over 120 competitors each year from this country and overseas.
 
This year’s contest will be adjudicated by Mike Lovatt, John Doyle and Mark Wilkinson who will oversee sixteen different categories which include slow melody, air varie, vintage, duet, ensemble and a parent and child class.
 
Foden's has also announced that it will partner the 'Association of Brass Band Adjudicators' in allowing one of their trainees to be mentored by Mark Wilkinson (current Chair of Aobba) and will also welcome a 'Youth Adjudicator' from Foden's Youth Band who will be mentored by Aobba member John Doyle.
