2020 DOBC Relocates

The 2020 Dutch Open Brass Band Championships (DOBC) will take place on the 13th of June at the De Oosterpoort concert hall in Groningen as the event re-locates from the Theatre De Lawei in Drachten.

 
A spokesperson for the contest stated, "The move to Groningen allows the competition to be held at a hall offering better facilities for the competing bands and audience. The main concert hall in De Oosterpoort has superb acoustics and seats over a thousand. The organisation believes that with this move the DOBC can develop further as an international event."
