Cory to tour USA

Cory Band has announced that in October this year the band will go stateside once again to perform a four date concert tour on the East Coast of America.

The number one ranked band in the World returns to America for the third time in its history having first visited in 1976 when it took part in the Bicentennial celebrations before returning in 2016, which marked 40 years since the original visit. Cory fans in America will be delighted to hear that they have only had to wait three years on this occasion to watch the band perform live once again.

2019 has already been a successful year for the band after being crowned European and UK Band of the Year Champions and with several special collaborations during this tour, it will surely be another memorable year for the World’s leading band.

Tickets will soon be available for all concerts during the tour but the confirmed dates are:
Tuesday 29th October – Ernst Theater, Northern Virginia Community College, Washington DC – Cory Band also featuring Rockville Brass Band
Wednesday 30th October – Meymandi Concert Hall, Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Raleigh, North Carolina – Cory Band also featuring Triangle Brass Band
Friday 1st November -James Madison University Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA

In addition to these four unique concerts, Cory will also undertake a range of educational sessions with students and bands during their travels thanks to the generous support of Besson and Buffet Crampon, USA.

Cory MD Philip Harper commented “This will be my third major tour with Cory and it remains a priority for myself and the management of the band to provide our members with memorable performance experiences, and these tours are really special in achieving that.  We had an amazing response from large audiences in 2016 and developed some really positive relationships that have enabled us to return. I’m really looking forward to developing our programmes for our American audiences and collaborating with these special bands.”
