Holland in the Netherlands with Schoonhoven

Paul Holland, the MD of the Flowers Band has announced he will take Brass Band Schoonhoven to the Netherlands’ National Championship. The event is due to take place later this year in Utrecht, featuring the Championship Section set-test piece of Philip Wilby’s ‘Vienna Nights’.
 
The Musical Director of Schoonhoven, Robbert Vos stated that the band is delighted to welcome him as they seek to regain the National title. Commenting on the engagement Paul said, "It's a real honour to be asked to take the band to such an important contest. They are a band with an enviable reputation for excellence; I'm really looking forward to working with them."
