Horn debut at ITEC

Later this month tenor horn virtuoso Jonathan Bates will become the first tenor horn player to appear as a guest artist at the globally renowned International Tuba & Euphonium Conference (ITEC). Held at the University of Iowa in the USA, the event is widely recognized as one of the world's most high profile events for Tuba and Euphonium players, and attracts huge numbers of delegates and artists from around the globe.

Jonathon will be performing the World premiere of ‘Zodiac’, a substantial concerto for tenor horn and euphonium, composed by Anthony Di Lorenzo. The Fountain City Band will accompany the performance; with solo euphonium star Lee Harrelson joining Jonathon in the spotlight.
