2019 Oslo Brass Festival

Congratulations to Manger Musikklag who retained the Oslo Brass Festival title. The event was held at the Kulturkirken Jakob Church, with the victors winning by some margin. Led by Joseph Cook, Manger Musikklag beat Kleppe Musikklag into the runner up spot with Sandefjord Brass Symposium in third.

Manger's impressive and distinctly English programme contained a brand new arrangement, by Principal Cornet Nick Walkley, of ‘Paean’ by Herbert Howells as the grand finale. Works by Elgar Howarth and Martin Winter were also included.

Result:
1. Manger Musikklag (Joseph Cook) — 223
2. Kleppe Musikklag (Trond Helland) — 215
