Cross Continent link at RNCM Festival 2017 - For the first time, the Royal Northern College of Music Brass Band Festival will welcome a band form the United States - James Madison University Brass Band (JMU) from Virginia - to its 2017 edition, as well as mark three significant birthdays for Martin Ellerby at 60, Howard Snell at 80 and Grimethorpe Colliery at 100.
