The British National Final

Led by Professor David King, Brighouse and Rastrick notched up its tenth British National last month against the backdrop of an intriguing and musically compelling contest on Howard Snell’s test-piece, Gallery, that emerged as one of the closest-fought battles in recent National Final history. ‘… Brighouse’s tenth ‘National’ victory in London was no flash in the pan. This was a ‘major’ triumph that has been on the cards for some time, whilst giving a tantalising glimpse of a band that could be odds-on to threaten Cory’s recent dominance as the World’s number one ranked band.
