New online experience from Wessex Tubas
Wessex Tubas has just launched a swanky new website and a gleaming new travel euphonium
Starting the year as it means to go on, last month the internationally renowned Wessex Tubas launched a brand new website in line with ambitious plans to grow its already popular multinational business.
Designing and manufacturing what the Company bills as ‘stunning quality brass instruments at affordable prices’ for almost seven years, Wessex Tubas - founded by keen tuba player Jonathan Hodgetts - has recently undergone extensive work to give all customers visiting the site from across the world the most authentic and enjoyable online experience possible.
Speaking of the website, Jonathan commented: “My biggest hope for the’ new website is that impassioned brass musicians like myself have a really positive, straightforward, and informative experience buying the instruments and accessories, such as gig bags and stands, which perfectly suit their needs.
“I created Wessex Tubas with one clear objective, to bring really high quality brass instruments to the masses and I wanted my new site to reflect this, ensuring new customers feel supported to make positive, long-term decisions about their instruments, whilst helping our loyal, returning customers feel valued, wherever they are in the world.

A new website isn’t the only development on the horizon for Wessex Tubas as, only a matter of weeks ago at the widely attended NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show in California, the business previewed what it describes as its ‘gorgeous’ new travel Euphonium - the ER154. A huge hit with many attendees and making ripples in the brass world, this exclusive instrument was described by one patron as: “The new travel euphonium you didn't know you needed... approximately 300 per cent better than I would assume is possible." A glowing review by any standards.
