Ray celebrates half-century of Service to Brass Banding 

Congratulations to Ray Galt, principal trombonist with Kirkintilloch Kelvin Brass, on achieving his life membership of the Scottish Brass Band Association for a half-century of service to the brass banding community. 
 
Ray, who’s been a member of KKB for the last 20 years, was presented with his SBBA medal at the band’s concert in Kessington Public Hall, Bearsden, on Saturday evening. During his two decades with KKB he has served as band manager and committee member and is currently librarian. He has been awarded Bandsperson of the Year on numerous occasions.
