Bousfield Concerti in Cardiff 

Strike up the Band: A vibrant blend of timeless classics and contemporary gems for brass band, featuring the internationally acclaimed trombone virtuoso, Ian Bousfield. A perfect evening of discovery and delight promising something for every musical taste.  
 
Trombone virtuoso Ian Bousfield is performing in Cardiff next week, when he joins the Brass Band of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in concert. Taking place in the Dora Stoutzker Hall on Friday 13th February, the concert will showcase Bousfield’s talents with performances of Buxton Orr’s ‘Trombone Concerto’ and Grant Kirkhope’s ‘KirkFeld Concerto’. 
 
Under the direction of Dr Robert Childs, in addition to accompanying the concerti, the band will also perform Eric Ball's 'Journey into Freedom' as well works by Edward Gregson, Goff Richards, Jonathan Bates, Norman Gimbel and Fredrick Schjelderup.
