Adjudicators announced for 2026 Scottish Championships 

Adjudicators for the 2026 Scottish Championships have been announced by the Scottish Brass Band Association: Chris King, John Doyle, Alan Duguid and Phillip Littlemore will judge the various contest sections between them while Joshua Parkhill will provide adjudication for the non-competing bands in Section 4b. 
 
Adjudicators will be as follows (in order of play) in Perth Concert Hall: 

Saturday 7 March 2026 (commencing at 9.30am) 
Section 3 [Test piece Three Haworth Impressions (Gordon Langford)] 
Chris King and John Doyle 
Section 2 [Test piece 20,000 Leagues under the Sea (Philip Harper)] 
Alan Duguid and Phillip Littlemore 
Section 1 [Test piece Variations on 'Was Lebet' (Andrew Wainwright)] 
Chris King and John Doyle 

Sunday 8 March 2026 (commencing at 9.30am) 
Section 4 [Test piece Indian Summer (Eric Ball)] 
Alan Duguid and Phillip Littlemore 
Section 4b [short own choice programme] 
Joshua Parkhill 
Championship Section [Test piece Elgar Variations (Martin Ellerby)] 
Chris King and John Doyle 
 
The pre-draw for Sections 2 and 3 on the Saturday and for Sections 4 and 4b on Sunday will take place as soon as practical after the competition entry closing date of 7 February.
