Yorkshire Bands’ Day of Inspiration 

The Yorkshire Regional Committee have teamed up with the Yorkshire Musics Future Fund and the North of England Regional Championships to present a One-of-a-Kind Day of Inspiration, Music & Performance for Young Brass & Percussion Players aged 16 and Under. 
 
On February 22nd 2026 there will be a full day of expert-led workshops, coaching, and a massed band finale, open to all brass and percussion players aged 16 and under from bands and schools across Yorkshire. The event will be led by one of the world’s finest brass musicians: Richard Marshall, Principal Cornet of Black Dyke Band. He will be supported by fellow top UK players: Siobhan Edwards, Adam Bokaris, Adam Warburton, Tommy Tynan and Logan Thompson 
 
The day will include: 
Sections for the workshops: Cornets | Flugel & Horns | Baritones & Euphoniums | Trombones | Basses | Percussion 
Mass concert to finish the day off (parents/guardians welcome!) 
Inspiration, challenge, and FUN with fellow young musicians from all over Yorkshire!
