Corry to Front B&R Recording Project
1st Old Boys Band Musical Director, Dr. Jonathan Corry, will head to Yorkshire next month to record a new CD release with Brighouse & Rastrick. It continues an association that has already seen the partnership work together on two successful recordings and concerts in 2024. The new album features hymn repertoire including works from Norman Bearcroft and Wilfred Heaton to Rebecca Lundberg and Philip Wilby amongst others.
Brighouse & Rastrick Chairperson Ste Cavanagh explained, “We're delighted to be working with Jonathan again. He has a deep understanding of hymn tune repertoire, and his Salvation Army experience will bring a thoughtful and authentic perspective to this recording.”
